Helping Today. Helping Tommorow
Inspired by Senge’s philosophy, a group of young corporate professionals came together in 2002 to set up Sneha Foundation to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families and communities.
The organization was founded with the belief that every individual has the potential to make a difference, and that small actions can have a big impact. The foundation initially focused on providing education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities to underprivileged communities in the Behala area of West Bengal, India.
What Make Us Different
We believe that education is the key to unlocking potential and breaking the cycle of poverty. That's why we provide educational opportunities to children and families in need, and work with communities to build sustainable schools and support systems.
Our focus is on providing comprehensive care and support to those in need, including the elderly and those with mental health issues. We provide a range of services, including medical care, housing support, and counseling, to help people live fulfilling and dignified lives.
We believe in empowering communities to take charge of their own futures. That's why we work with partners to build infrastructure, create livelihood opportunities, and promote community development.
Our work is funded by the generosity of donors and corporate partners. We believe that everyone has the power to make a difference, and we are committed to using donations effectively to achieve our mission.

Our volunteer programs provide opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved in a variety of projects, including support for geriatric care, mental health initiatives, and community development programs.
Volunteers can choose from a range of activities, from hands-on work in the field to administrative support in our offices. Whether you have a few hours a week or a few days a month, your time and effort can make a big impact in the lives of those we serve.
